2023年4月22日～23日、第6回日本DCD学会学術集会 ーDCD（発達性協調運動障害）最前線～有効な支援法の確立へ～ ーハイブリッド開催 にオンライン参加しました。
AKIDSは、「ぶきっちょ」「運動音痴」などで困りのあるお子さんが利用されるケースが多く、そのことは社会性や学習面・情緒・自尊感情と深く関係していることから、正しい理解とエビデンスに基づくこれからの支援に対するヒントを、学術集会で多いに学ばせて頂きました。
DCDは、1980年代には世界的に定義され、発生頻度は約5～8%と言われる神経発達障害です。新しくも珍しくもない一方、日本では認知度が低く、やる気の問題・怠け・努力不足などと誤解され、不適切な対応につながっていることがあります。
よって、障害の特性を理解し、「できるだけ早期の気付きと適切な見立て」「合理的配慮をしながらの現場での適切な支援」のために、AKIDSでは
◎ 定期的なアセスメントで発達の度合いを保護者の方と確認し合う
◎ お子さんの「楽しい」「できた」「やりたい」を大切にする
◎ 医師や専門家と連携しながら多面的に特性を理解するを
大切にしています。
学術集会では、アセスメントについての活用事例や最新の知見のほ か、薬物療法と療育の介入、脳科学からみた近年の研究成果など、貴重な講演を拝聴することができました。DCDのある子どもたちに、より良い未来をもたらすことができるよう、引き続きAKIDSは努めます。
On April 22-23, 2023, the 6th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of DCD – Frontline of DCD (Developmental Coordination Disorder): Toward Establishment of Effective Support Methods – was held as a hybrid event.
At the academic meeting, we were able to hear valuable lectures on assessment, including examples of its use and the latest findings, as well as on pharmacotherapy and rehabilitation interventions, and recent research findings from the perspective of brain science.
In order to understand DCD and provide appropriate support, AKIDS will place importance on the following.
✅Check growth with parents through assessments
✅Value “fun,” “could do,” and “want to do
✅Working with doctors and specialists to understand characteristics from multiple perspectives.
